TPM 720 Coast Guard
Mil-spec coast guard interceptor, launched from the cutter
38–40 knots from a cutter’s stern slipway
A heavy-duty, high-speed Mil-Spec 7.2 m RHIB developed for the coast guard cutters of the Netherlands Antilles. It is berthed on, and launched from, a slipway at the stern of the cutter, ready for immediate pursuit.
Its tasks include border-control checks, arresting armed criminals, counter-narcotics and border-crossing operations, pursuit and maritime boarding: on inland waterways, deltas, coastal waters and at sea up to 12 miles offshore.
A single Volvo Penta D4-300 diesel drives a sterndrive with duo-propellers via a jackshaft. The ultimate Deep-V hull with aggressive spray rails gives a dry, comfortable ride and outstanding cornering.

Hull & deck
Unitary hull and deck mouldings of woven mat and stitched unidirectional reinforcements, impregnated throughout with vinylester resin by vacuum infusion for maximum strength and minimal emissions. Internally reinforced with longitudinal and transverse Cell Core® panels for keels and bulkheads. Hull and deck are bolted together; hull voids drain to a single bilge at the transom.
Inflatable collar
Hypalon® 1500 gsm (1670 dtex) military-grade collar with seven independent air chambers, each with inflation and pressure-relief valves. Reinforced in high-wear areas, with rubbing strakes, non-slip boarding patches and internal and external lifelines. The collar is mechanically fastened with a quick-removable system (QRS).
