A heavy-duty, high-speed 8.5 m Rigid Inflatable Boat with composite hull, Hypalon® inflatable collar and stainless steel 316 topside fabrications.

The craft features an aft helm position, seating for a maximum of 14 persons, a large forward working deck, a four-point lifting sling and a twin outboard installation. Hull and deck are moulded as unitary structures with SAN core cell reinforcement — no plywood — for an immensely strong structure with excellent weight properties.

Hull & deck

Unitary mouldings from reinforced laminated composite — chopped strand mat and stitched unidirectional mat impregnated with polyester, skin-coated with vinylester resin, applied by hand to design weights. Internally reinforced with longitudinal and transverse SAN core cell keels and bulkheads with intermediate deck beams. Hull voids are limbered to a single bilge area at the transom.

Inflatable collar

Hypalon® 1500 gsm (1670 dtex) military grade, five independent air chambers each with inflation and pressure-relief valves. Bonded and taped internally and externally, reinforced in high-wear areas, with multiple rubbing strakes, non-slip boarding patches, internal lifelines and anti-snag external lifelines for personnel recovery.

Command console & seating

Removable composite console with vented battery stowage, electrics locker and small-item stowage, and stainless steel handrails to port and starboard. Pilot seat behind the console, two seats in front, and 2 × 3 jockey seats. Optional crew foot straps.

Deck equipment

Heavy-duty bow Samson post with integrated fuel intake, flush tie-down points on the forward working deck, stern U-plate with two towing/mooring bollards, bow eye and two transom eyes, four lifting eyes with certified four-leg sling.

Safety equipment

Supplied with paddles, telescopic boat hook, anchor with chain and warp, 2 kg ABC fire extinguisher, thermal protective aids, fire blanket, sea anchor, torch, first-aid kit, towing line and a handheld waterproof searchlight with 12 V socket.

Delivery

Professional twin-axle galvanised trailer with high-speed launching system. Supplied with two hard copies and one electronic copy of the Operation & Maintenance Manual including craft schematics and wiring diagram. Colour and sign-writing confirmed with the client.
